Rune factory 3 review

This game is a Fantasy harvest moon game meaning you can farm for crops and kill monsters at the same time. Although the combat is not the best it helps make the game what it is. For example when I played harvest moon DS for the first time I thought it was boring of course I was younger then but that does not matter when I first played this game I thought that the combat helped it become less tedious and more about managing your time so that you can level up faster, get a Girl friend, and defeat the bosses and at the same time farming to get better crops and more money to full all of the things you do.

So here is how it started a Gold sheep monster fell from the sky and a girl which you will find out is called Shara finds it and helps him because she is nice (I don't trust her) to cute sheep monsters because they are cute. The next day in the bed where the sheep monster was there is now a boy that looks like the sheep monster but is a human. So he sneaks out and finds her near a huge tree. Shara gives you a Tree house (I am not joking) to live in because nobody lived in it for a long time and it has a large field under it to farm. Then a quiet girl comes to help Shara which after that you call yourself Micha after completely destroying the forth wall. Monsters attack you and the Quiet Girl will run to Get The blacksmith's help and it leaves you to kill the orks with your hoe even though she has a Higher level than you and a short sword but it pays off because the third character you meet The dwarf Gaius that looks more like a elf than a dwarf gives you a weapon to use to fight of the monsters and after that you meet all of the crazy people in town.

So almost of the characters are funny from Sofia and Sherman talking in opposites just the right amount so that it will be confusing without the color coded not like this and the blacksmith Gaius Is the most focused blacksmith and Without Raven the Quiet Girl at the beginning he will work for a whole week without rest and he makes legendary weapons that cost your whole First year of income to buy 3 weapons and some times more than that. There are only 2 (or 3 if you play the Right way I did) people that are not crazy in one way and one of them is the main character Micha.

The combat in this game is simple. At first you mash the A button and dodge attacks by dashing but when you get good at a weapon you hit harder and get more attack options like the dash and charge attack and after that you can get and doing the simplest thing can help you like being well fed and being well rested. You can get magic and combat abilities in the game by buying them and some of them are amazing my favorite one is called Axle disaster (Micha calls it rotating strike) and million strike the first is not a spin attack but a rotating attack that thrusts you forwards as a fast rate dealing a lot of damage and the other one looks the best on the spear and it looks like you are thrusting it once but dealing damage at the extended range rapidly (I mean a lot of damage). One more thing about the combat that the max level that you can get is 10,000 and the max stat count is 65,535... that is a lot.

Now on to the farming. You start with little money and a lot of weeds rocks, and dead trees. The going is rough but with a little work the plot of land under your huge tree you can plant some pink Turnips in the ground and later find out that you need to rotate your crops and how annoying it is but if you work hard enough you will prosper and have a lot of money.

Game play: 8/10
This game is perfect for you if you like farming in
harvest moon but think it is boring sometimes.

Multiplayer: ?/10
The locale multiplayer looks fun but I never played
it because I am the only one that has the game in my area. D:

 graphics: 6/10
It is a DS game so... it is not the best

Story 7 or 6/10
Unlike rune factory 2 this does not have much of a
story although when it has story it is very good but
only expect story in the first year. If you want the
best story do Ravens requests.

Music: 8/10
The music is amazing here is some examples. music 1 Music 2 Music 3.
Okay the last one came from Rune Factory 2 but I think it proves my point

Total: 8/10
It is one of the best games on the DS and if you can handle
harvest moons farming you can handle this and if you can't
then get used to it because you need it or get Rune Factory:
Tides of destiny.
